Dear Colleagues,
The COVID-19 caused a shortage of raw materials in the textile industry in Myanmar. Under the active guidance and coordination of the Chinese embassy in Myanmar, the first charter flight of textile and garment raw materials organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Enterprises in Myanmar and carried by Jiuyuan Airlines arrived in Yangon, Myanmar on the evening of March 17 from Guangzhou, China. The charter plane was carrying 15 tons of raw materials, helping to meet the urgent production needs of some Chinese textile and clothing companies.
As the situation of epidemic prevention and control in China continues to improve and the resumption of work and production is accelerated, the shortage of raw materials is being alleviated at the source. The fight against the epidemic has once again proved that the destinies of all countries are closely linked and mankind is a community with a shared future. In the face of the epidemic, the challenges and responsibilities are shared. At this juncture, huddle together to keep warm and overcome difficulties is the only correct choice. It is believed that with the joint efforts of all sectors of China and Myanmar, the two countries will overcome the epidemic at an early date and continuously deepen cooperation.
