Hi,

South Africa signed an agreement with Rosatom to build a large-scale nuclear power plant last week. Egypt plans to organize a tender for its first nuclear plant by the end of 2014. Kenya will get assistance from China, U.S. and South Korea to develop nuclear electricity. Nigeria got IAEA’s backing for construction of nuclear power plant. 2nd Nuclear Industry Congress Africa 2015 critically focuses on the four countries.

Before moving into the booming time of nuclear power plant construction, nuclear power generation - opportunities and challenges in Africa still attracts more attention. This time, Mr Vincent Nkong-Njock, Lead of Nuclear Infrastructure Development Section in International Atomic Energy Agencywill share his insight on the mentioned topic.
