Bayraktar, is currently in charge of an energy expert at the office of the President of EMRA. He has been working on the nuclear power, solar power investment opportunities in Turkey, Climate Change and effects to Turkey, use of  bio fuel in Turkey and Global and European energy markets from a Turkish perspective.

He is a member of the World Energy Council, Turkish National Committee.
